Family farming partnership agreement

Maintained, England, Wales
A partnership agreement for a family farming partnership.
Note: Note: The UK left the EU on 31 January 2020. Agriculture is now a devolved matter.
In England, the Basic Payment Scheme has ended and is replaced by delinked payments from 1 January 2024, which reduce and are phased out at the end of 2027. Farmers can receive funding via a new system of environmental land management. For more information on delinking, see Practice note, Delinked payments and Practice note, Environmental Land Management (ELM) and other rural support in England.
In Wales, the Agriculture (Wales) Act 2023 (AWA 2023) received Royal Assent on 17 August 2023. The AWA 2023 is split into six parts and provides a new statutory framework for agricultural policy in Wales based on Sustainable Land Management ("SLM"). The principal proposed delivery mechanism for SLM will be the Sustainable Farming Scheme (SFS) (which will replace the Basic Payment Scheme and other EU-agri-environment support schemes). Form more information, see Practice note, Transition to Sustainable Farming Scheme (Wales).
