This article examines the CICA Rules, a new set of arbitration rules introduced on 4 June 2014 in the Bucharest Court of International Commercial Arbitration. The CICA Rules replace the previously unpopular Rules that applied between February 2012 and the beginning of June 2014, and represent a positive step forward for arbitrations conducted in Romania by allowing for:
