This Legal Update reports on significant changes to the local rules and procedures for all US federal district courts and appellate courts between November 12 and 18, 2014. It also reports on changes to the individual practice rules for the judges in select district courts during this period.
First Circuit
District of Puerto Rico
The US District Court for the District of Puerto Rico updated its fee schedule, increasing the fee for exemplification of any document or paper.

Southern District of New York

Northern District of Mississippi

The US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi amended its Local Uniform Civil Rules effective December 1, 2014. The court posted a redline detailing the changes.
Southern District of Texas
The US District Court for the Southern District of Texas updated its schedule of fees, adding a renewal fee for attorney admissions.

Northern District of Iowa
The US District Court for the Northern District of Iowa updated its schedule of fees, effective December 1, 2014.
