OFCCP has posted a new web page providing information to help federal contractors when foreign governments deny entry visas for the contractors' employees based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
On June 3, 2015, OFCCP announced that it had posted a new web page providing information to help federal contractors when foreign governments deny entry visas for the contractors' employees based on sexual orientation or gender identity.
The website explains that if a foreign country with which the contractor does business denies the contractor's request for a visa for an employee based on sexual orientation or gender identity, OFCCP regulations now require the contractor to notify:
  • OFCCP.
  • The US State Department.
The new web page tells contractors how to make those required contacts. The page also provides information to:
  • Help contractors learn about specific countries' visa requirements.
  • Assist companies that have difficulty acquiring a visa.
  • Aid LGBT individuals who can benefit from travel tips.
