Division of Corporation Finance

The division of the SEC that reviews registration statements filed under the Securities Act of 1933 and periodic disclosure and other filings made by reporting companies under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 to ensure compliance with disclosure and accounting requirements. The Division of Corporation Finance also:
  • Provides interpretive assistance to companies relating to the SEC's rules and forms.
  • Makes recommendations to the SEC relating to new rules and revisions to existing rules.
