A document that describes the nature of communications, documents, or other tangible things that a party or non-party withholds from disclosure in litigation under the attorney-client privilege, work product doctrine, or other applicable privilege or protection. A party may provide a privilege log with its written objections to a party's request for the production of documents. A non-party may provide a privilege log with objections to a document subpoena.
