This note sets out the organisational requirements that apply to alternative investment fund managers (AIFMs) and how an AIFM can delegate tasks under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (2011/61/EU) (AIFMD). It also sets out the valuation and leverage provisions in the AIFMD.
