The Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) have signed a co-operation agreement at the HKIAC 25th anniversary conference on 18-19 November 2010. The PCA has previously signed a number of co-operation agreements with institutions, including the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) (see Legal update, PCA and ACICA co-operation agreement). The co-operation agreements generally provide for the relevant institution and the PCA to share facilities, services, information and expertise to facilitate arbitral hearings and meetings.
