The First-tier Tribunal (Information Rights) in Montford v Information Commissioner (Case No EA/2009/0114) has held that the BBC was not required to disclose information about seminars that its staff attended as they fell within the "journalism, art or literature" derogation in Schedule 1 to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and that the information was not covered by the Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (SI 2004/3391).
