The SEC's Office of Investor Education and Advocacy released investor bulletins on investing in IPOs and interpreting Forms 3, 4 and 5.
On February 25, 2013, the SEC's Office of Investor Education and Advocacy issued an investor bulletin on investing in IPOs. The bulletin highlights potential issues to consider when investing in IPOs and provides information for investors on:
  • How to obtain relevant company information that should be considered.
  • Other important issues that can affect an investment decision.
The Office of Investor Education and Advocacy also issued an investor bulletin on February 27, 2013 on insider transactions. The bulletin provides information for investors on interpreting Forms 3, 4 and 5.
