Northern District of Texas

The US District Court for the Northern District of Texas posted a special order regarding assignment of all civil, criminal and miscellaneous cases filed in the Forth Worth Division (except for cases directly assigned under special order 3-250), effective October 1, 2013.

Sixth Circuit

Western District of Michigan

The US District Court for the Western District of Michigan issued an administrative order regarding amendments to Local Criminal Rule 57.3(g) regarding writs of habeas corpus.

Northern District of Ohio

The US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio posted a general order regarding amended magistrate judge pre-indictment duties.

Central District of California

Eastern District of California

Effective October 1, 2013, the US District Court for the Eastern District of California is a Microsoft Word only court. All documents required to be submitted to the court in word processing format under Local Rules 137, 163 and 281 (proposed orders, jury instructions and pretrial statements) must be submitted in Word format.

Northern District of California

The US District Court for the Northern District of California has approved amendments to the local rules that consolidate and update the procedures for filing under-seal documents. General Order 62 is abrogated as of October 1, 2013, when the amendments to Civil Local Rule 79-5, and the new Criminal Local Rule 56-1 take effect.
