Second Circuit

Northern District of New York

The US District Court for the Northern District of New York announced updates to its local rules, effective January 1, 2014. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Southern District of New York

Judge Ronnie Abrams updated her individual rules and practices in civil cases. A copy of the previous version is available here.
Magistrate Judge Andrew J. Peck updated his Rule 16 IPTC Scheduling Order. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Third Circuit

Eastern District of Pennsylvania

Judge Jeffrey L. Schmehl updated his policies and procedures. A copy of the previous version is available here.
Judge Schmehl also posted an order governing electronic discovery.

Fifth Circuit

Eastern District of Louisiana

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana posted an order amending its rules for lawyer disciplinary enforcement. The order includes a blackline of the changes.
The Eastern District of Louisiana also announced that effective February 1, 2014, the Clerk's Office will no longer accept payment of restitution obligations by credit card. Restitution payments must be made by cash, check or money order only.

Eastern District of Texas

Judge Rodney Gilstrap posted an exemption order regarding courtesy copies of electronically filed documents.
Judge Gilstrap also posted a referral order for civil cases assigned to him.
Magistrate Judge K. Nicole Mitchell posted an exemption order regarding courtesy copies of electronically filed documents.
Magistrate Judge Roy S. Payne posted an exemption order regarding courtesy copies of electronically filed documents.

Sixth Circuit

Northern District of Ohio

The US District Court for the Northern District of Ohio updated its local civil rules with amendments to rule 83.5. A copy of the previous version of the local civil rules is available here.
The Northern District of Ohio also updated its local criminal rules with amendments to rules 32.2 and 57.5.

Eastern District of Tennessee

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee updated its local rules. A copy of the previous version is available here.

Seventh Circuit

Southern District of Indiana

The US District Court for the Southern District of Indiana updated its case management plan with changes to sections II, III(G), III(I), IV(B)-Tracks 2 and 3, V, VI, VII, and VIII(A)(1). A copy of the previous version is available here.

District of Nebraska

The US District Court for the District of Nebraska posted a general order regarding the assignment of cases involving Berkshire Hathaway or its subsidiaries as parties.

Southern District of Iowa
