In Lismore (Trustee In Bankruptcy of Davey) v Davey and others [2014] NICh 2, the Northern Irish High Court considered whether a trustee in bankruptcy could apply to substitute a longer period for the three year period, in the Northern Irish equivalent provision to section 283A of the Insolvency Act 1986, after the three year period had expired.
