Non-domestic rates relief for listed buildings

GE Bowra Group Limited v Thanet District Council [2007] EWHC 1077 (Admin).

The High Court has held that a property that forms only part of a listed building may claim empty property rates relief. There is no requirement that the property in respect of which the relief is claimed must be listed in its own right.
