The new UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, which will come into force on 15 August 2010, have been published on the UNCITRAL website. The UNCITRAL Working Group II, tasked with considering the proposed amendments to the 1976 version of the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, adopted the new rules at its 53rd session in New York in July 2010. PLC Arbitration will update all of its practice notes and resources to reflect the changes made by the new rules and will also publish a more detailed review of the rules in due course.
