Replacing one defined term with another

There are many instances where you may wish to change one defined term with another. For example, you may wish to change the defined term "Business" with the defined term "Firm", or you may wish to change "Buyer" to "Purchaser".

In normal practice, this would require a thorough proof-read and numerous changes in order to ensure that all instances of the word Business were changed. You can change a defined term easily through FastDraft. Simply click on the blue link for the term.

This opens up a popup window which allows you to change the term. Make the change, and click save.

The change is automatically added to the draft page.

FastDraft even takes into account the change in the defined term, and automatically reorganises the interpretation clause into alphabetical order. The change is also replicated throughout the document.
