In JSC BTA Bank v Ablyazov [2010] EWHC 1779 (Comm), the High Court considered whether to make a receivership order in support of an existing freezing order, the ambit of the provision in the freezing order giving the defendant liberty to deal with assets in the ordinary course of business and whether the defendant's passport should be returned to him.
