Consumer Credit Directive: key changes to the UK regime from 1 February 2011

A summary of the key changes to the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (CCA), and a number of the regulations made under that Act, that took effect on 1 February 2011 as a result of the UK implementation of the Consumer Credit Directive (2008/48/EC) (CCD).

Changes to the UK consumer credit regime made after 1 February 2011 are outside the scope of this note.
