On 29 March 2011, the government published its response to the consultation on Jackson LJ's recommendations for reforming civil litigation funding and costs. It intends to implement almost all of his primary recommendations, including abolishing the recoverability of success fees in conditional fee agreements and the recoverability of after the event insurance premiums.
