The second edition of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Code of practice for service charges in commercial property came into effect in October 2011. This practice note contains links to standard clauses and to other materials on the revised Code that are available to both subscribers to PLC and non-subscribers.

The second edition of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Code of practice for service charges in commercial property came into effect in October 2011. This practice note contains links to standard clauses and to other materials on the revised Code that are available to both subscribers to PLC and non-subscribers.
NOTE 1: the Second Edition of the Code was replaced by the Third Edition on 4 February 2014. The Second Edition is no longer accessible on the RICS website. NOTE 2: The specimen clauses referred to in this practice note have been updated to comply with the Third Edition of the Code.
