On 16 May 2012, the Insolvency Service published a report into compliance with Statement of Insolvency Practice 16 (SIP 16) during 2011. SIP 16 regulates the conduct of insolvency practitioners who carry out a pre-pack sale of the business and assets of an insolvent company.
