This practice note considers the role of witnesses and documents as set out in the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure set out in schedule 1 to the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/1237). It explains the procedures relating to witness statements, witness orders and disclosure in the employment tribunal, and explains how to prepare an effective hearing bundle and other documents to assist the tribunal, including lists of issues and Scott schedules.
