First Circuit

District of New Hampshire

The US District Court for the District of New Hampshire posted a notice on new protocol for sentencing letters.

District of Puerto Rico

The US District Court for the District of Puerto Rico added to its website:

District of Rhode Island

The US District Court for the District of Rhode Island amended its filing procedures to reflect the new $400 filing fee.

Second Circuit

Eastern District of New York

The US District Court for the Eastern District of New York revised its CM/ECF civil event list.

Southern District of New York

Judge Alison Nathan amended her individual rules of practice in civil cases. A copy of the judge's old rules is available here.

District of New Jersey

Judge Renee Bumb revised her judicial preferences and individual rules and procedures. A copy of the judge's old rules and procedures is available here.

Eastern District of Pennsylvania

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania updated Appendix Q of its procedural handbook by:
  • Amending the form for consent to the reference of a civil action to a magistrate judge.
  • Adding a notice of procedure for consent to the reference of a civil action or proceeding to a magistrate judge.

Northern District of Mississippi

The US District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi updated its criminal and civil CM/ECF event lists.

Eastern District of Texas

Chief Judge Leonard Davis added a Docket Control Order redline and Word document to his list of sample patent forms.

Seventh Circuit

Central District of Illinois

The US District Court for the Central District of Illinois added a general order increasing the attorney admission fee to $226.

Northern District of Illinois

Magistrate Judge Geraldine Brown updated her standing order on settlement conferences. A copy of the judge's old standing order is available here.

Northern District of Indiana

The US District Court for the Northern District of Indiana posted an amended order for filing documents under seal in criminal cases.

Eighth Circuit

Eastern District of Missouri

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri amended Local Rule 6.02, effective July 1, 2013, and provided a redline of the changes.

Ninth Circuit

Central District of California

Judge Dean Pregerson changed his mandatory courtesy copy policy, encouraging parties to prepare hyperlinked versions of their documents and submit them as courtesy copies on CD or flash drive.
