The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has announced it will host an America Invents Act (AIA) Second Anniversary Forum on Monday, September 16, 2013.
On September 4, 2013, the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued a press release announcing it will host an America Invents Act (AIA) Second Anniversary Forum on Monday, September, 16, 2013 at the USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. At the free four-hour forum Patent Business Unit experts and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) judges will discuss provisions of patent law and filing compliance tips. In particular, the forum will focus on prioritized examinations (aka Track One), preissuance submissions, inventor's oaths/declarations, supplemental examinations, micro-entity discount, first-inventor-to-file issues and administrative trials.
