The US Department of Labor's (DOL) Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has launched a new online form to provide workers with a new method to file whistleblower retaliation complaints.
On December 5, 2013, OSHA announced that it had released a new online form to provide workers with a new method to file whistleblower retaliation complaints. Whistleblowers covered by one of the 22 statutes administered by OSHA will now be able to electronically submit whistleblower complaints to OSHA using the OSHA Online Whistleblower Complaint Form. When using the new form, workers will be prompted to insert basic information to allow OSHA to follow-up with them. Online complaints will be automatically routed to the appropriate region's investigators. Once filled out online, the complaint form can also be downloaded and submitted in hard-copy.
