A Practice Note examining the application of foreign law to litigation taking place in the US. Specifically, this Note discusses how parties introduce questions of foreign law to US litigation, how courts determine whether to apply foreign or US law to a case, and how parties can prove the elements of the relevant foreign law to the court.
