Second Circuit

Second Circuit Court of Appeals

The US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit announced a new procedure for dismissing an appeal or sanctioning counsel when a brief is not timely filed according to a scheduling notification, effective April 1, 2014.

Southern District of New York

The US District Court for the Southern District of New York announced a requirement that amended pleadings in civil cases be electronically filed through the court's ECF system, effective March 17, 2014.

Southern District of West Virginia

The US District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia updated its:

Eastern District of Tennessee

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee updated its instructions for filing a civil action pro se.

Western District of Tennessee

The US District Court for the Western District of Tennessee issued a standing order in the western division referring scheduling conferences to the magistrate judge assigned upon initiation of the case.
The court also issued a standing order in the eastern division referring scheduling conferences to the magistrate judge assigned upon initiation of the case.

Seventh Circuit

Western District of Wisconsin

The US District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin posted a notice regarding filing documents under seal.

Eighth Circuit

Eastern District of Missouri

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri posted a new subpoena to appear and testify at a hearing or trial in a civil action form.

Ninth Circuit

Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals

The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit updated its attorney admission instructions by amending section (D).

Northern District of California

The US District Court for the Northern District of California posted the following forms:
  • Subpoena to appear and testify at a hearing or trial in a civil action.
  • Subpoena to produce documents, information, or objects or to permit inspection of premises in a civil action.
  • Subpoena to testify at a deposition in a civil action.

Eastern District of Washington

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Washington announced a new process for submitting documents for in camera review.

Tenth Circuit

District of Utah

The US District Court for the District of Utah announced that it will be moving to its new courthouse between April 4 and 13, 2014.

District of Wyoming

Middle District of Florida
