This case study illustrates how to commence an arbitration under the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) Arbitration Rules 2014, which apply to LCIA arbitrations commenced after 1 October 2014. It provides guidance on how to draft and file a Request for Arbitration, as well as how to respond to the Request with a Response, including (where appropriate) a cross-claim or counterclaim.
