Federal Circuit

Federal Circuit Court of Appeals

The Federal Circuit Court announced that its Daily Disposition Sheet listing orders and opinions will be discontinued as of December 29, 2014. All opinions and orders are issued by the Court through PACER between 9 and 11 a.m. weekdays and are publicly available through PACER in accordance with the Judicial Conference Electronic Public Access Fee Schedule. Opinions and selected orders are also available free of charge on the court's web site. Instructions for accessing opinions and orders through the website and PACER are available here.

Second Circuit

Southern District of New York

The US District Court for the Southern District of New York announced the closure of the courthouse located at 25 South Street, Middletown, New York, effective December 31, 2014. Beginning January 1, 2015, all proceedings previously held at the Middletown courthouse will be held at the United States Bankruptcy Court located at 355 Main Street, Poughkeepsie, New York, 12601.

Third Circuit

District of Delaware

The US District Court for the District of Delaware issued a standing order regarding procedures to govern the appointment and utilization of special masters in complex civil cases.

Fifth Circuit

Eastern District of Texas

The US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas issued:
  • An updated general order regarding assigning civil and criminal actions. A copy of the previous version is available here.
  • Attorney instructions for docketing admitted exhibits from trial for cases on appeal to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Magistrate Judge John D. Love posted his post Markman Track B docket control order.

Southern District of Texas

District of Nebraska

The US District Court for the District of Nebraska posted an Eighth Circuit Judicial Order stating that the court furnished the Judicial Council with a copy of its amended General Local Rules 1.3, 1.5 and 1.7, and amended Civil Local Rules 6.1, 16.1 and 67.1 in accordance with 28 U.S.C. § 2071(d).
