This practice note outlines the FSA's proposals to regulate retail banking conduct of business as set out in CP08/19, PS09/6, CP09/20 and Handbook Notice 92. The FSA implemented these proposals on 1 November 2009 when it introduced its new Banking Conduct Regime for retail banks.
