This practice note examines some key practical issues facing trustees and employers in connection with the scheme-specific funding regime introduced by Part 3 of the Pensions Act 2004.
On 2 December 2013 the Pensions Regulator launched a consultation on a revised code of practice for DB scheme funding, a new DB regulatory strategy and a revised DB funding policy. We will update this note to include the Regulator's proposals as soon as practicable.
