This is an example of the details of claim that can be used as a starting point when drafting a claim for interim rent under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 (LTA 1954).

It is drafted on the basis that court proceedings for the renewal or termination of a lease have not begun or have already ended. In these circumstances, a standalone claim for interim rent must be made using the Part 8 procedure and N208: Claim Form (CPR Part 8) (paragraph 3.19, Practice Direction (PD) 56).
