Code of Ethics/Conflict of Interest Policy

An employee code of ethics or conflict of interest policy for private, for-profit employers. This policy defines a potential conflict of interest and sets out a procedure for reporting potential conflicts of interest and violations of the policy. It can be incorporated into an employee handbook or used as a stand-alone policy document. This Standard Document applies only to private workplaces. It is based on federal law. This Standard Document has integrated notes with important explanations and drafting tips.
