Glass Lewis Releases Issuer Engagement Portal

On April 12, 2012, Glass, Lewis & Co. announced the release of its Issuer Engagement Portal.
On April 12, 2012, Glass, Lewis & Co. (Glass Lewis) announced that it has released a new Issuer Engagement Portal (IEP). The IEP is intended to improve communication and understanding among public companies, investors and Glass Lewis.
When using the IEP, issuers can:
- Access information about Glass Lewis' approach to analyzing proxy issues, including answers to frequently asked questions.
- Request meetings or conference calls with Glass Lewis.
- Notify Glass Lewis of updated disclosure or potential data discrepancies.
Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) also recently announced a similar initiative (see Legal Update, ISS Establishes New Feedback Review Board).
