PLC Public Sector has published two new podcasts on TUPE transfers in the public sector.
As part of an ongoing collaboration between PLC and JurisProductions, PLC Public Sector has published the following podcasts:
  • TUPE transfers in the public sector (Part 1).
  • TUPE transfers in the public sector (Part 2) (Pensions issues).
The podcasts discuss the management of TUPE and pensions issues within the context of the public procurement regime.
The time you spend listening to the podcast can count towards your annual non-accredited SRA CPD requirement. You can claim a further half hour's non-accredited CPD if you also take the accompanying quiz. Full instructions and a link to the quiz are provided on the podcast landing page under the "CPD points" tab.
If your business is authorised by the SRA, you may also claim accredited CPD by listening to PLC podcasts and then having a face-to-face discussion about them. You can claim the total time of the session, provided it lasts at least an hour and the podcast listened to comprises no more than half of the total session. For full details of the current ways to acquire CPD points, check the SRA website. Details of all podcasts produced by PLC can be found in the PLC Media Centre.
