This Law Firm Publication by Jackson Lewis discusses the new minimum wage in Connecticut which was signed into law by Governor Malloy on June 6th. The law initally takes effect on January 1, 2014 when the minimum wage increases by 45 cents from $8.25 to $8.70 an hour. A second increase takes effect January 1, 2015, when the minimum wage will increase by 30 cents to $9.00 an hour.
