Jackson Lewis: Oregon Extends Domestic Violence Leave to Part-time and New Employees | Practical Law

Effective January 1, 2014, all employees who are victims of domestic violence, harassment, sexual assault or stalking will be eligible to take leave, including those who work less than 26 hours per week or have been employed for less than 180 days. The law applies to Oregon employers with six or more employees. Covered employers will also be required to post a summary of employees' leave rights under the law in a conspicuous place.
