On 19 December 2013, the ECJ handed down its judgment in the appeals by Siemens AG, Mitsubishi Electric Corp. and Toshiba Corp. against the General Court judgments in actions brought against a decision of the European Commission that imposed fines on eleven groups of companies for infringing Article 101(1) of the TFEU by participating in an illegal collusive tendering cartel in the market for gas insulated switchgear projects.
