OHIM has published the second part of its new examination guidelines for Community trade marks and registered designs. The first part came into force on 1 February 2014 (see Legal update, OHIM publishes new examination guidelines for Community trade marks and registered designs). OHIM's President adopted the second part of the new guidelines on 13 June 2014, and they will come into effect on 1 August 2014.

The second part of the new guidelines is currently available attached to the President's decision (see Source below), and will be available on the current practice page of the OHIM website in July 2014.
