Among the changes are increased timekeeping and recordkeeping requirements for exempt and nonexempt employees as well as changes to the administrative hearing process. The law requires employers to give employees written notice of their wages within 90 days of the Act's effective date and to post a copy or summary of the Act at the workplace. Within 60 days of the effective date, the Mayor's office is to provide both of these documents to employers.
