On 1 June 2015 the vast majority of the Companies Act (CA 2014) came into force in Ireland, consolidating and reforming Irish company law. This article provides an outline of Part 7 CA 2014, which deals, amongst other things, with charges created by a company, and introduces important changes to the registration of company charges.
