In a case concerning the Financial Services Authority (FSA), the Information Tribunal has upheld a decision of the Information Commissioner and concluded that confidential information provided to the FSA was exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 by virtue of the prohibition on its disclosure contained in the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
