The State of Qatar and Cape Verde have ratified the ICSID Convention.
On 21 and 27 December 2010, the State of Qatar and Cape Verde respectively, deposited with the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank) an Instrument of Ratification of the ICSID Convention. In accordance with Article 68(2), the Convention will come into force for Qatar on 20 January 2011 and for Cape Verde on 26 January 2011. 146 states have now deposited their instruments of ratification.
