On 30 March 2011, the First-Tier Tribunal (General Regulatory Chamber) issued its decision in Dransfield v IC and Devon County Council [2011] UKFTT EA 2010 0152 (GRC) (30 March 2011) that information on an Amercian computer system was held on behalf of the contractor and not the public authority, Devon County Council.
