Named Fiduciary
Under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), the person or persons with authority to control and manage the operation and administration of an employee benefits plan. The named fidicuary is either:
- Named in the plan document.
- Identified as a fiduciary by the employer under a plan procedure.
