This Law Firm Publication by Fisher & Phillips LLP discusses Indiana's new anti-smoking law, signed by Governor Daniels. Under this law, smoking is prohibited in any place of employment, all public places and within eight feet of the entrance to either of these places. Employers must inform current and prospective employees of the prohibition. The law also prohibits discrimination and retaliation for reporting violations under this law.
