An example of a letter to a client who has issued a claim form or is considering doing so. The letter provides a general overview of the civil litigation process in England and Wales. It is a good starting point when you need to give an overview of the key stages and features of litigation such as pre-action procedures, case management, disclosure, evidence, interim remedies and trial. The letter deals with the procedure for a claim brought under CPR 7 and allocated to the multi-track.
