Document Review Platform

In e-discovery, a document database that is used to store electronically stored information (ESI). Typically, after documents are collected and processed, they are uploaded to a document review platform for sorting, searching, review, coding, and production.
A document review platform may be accessible through a secure website. This enables users to access the review platform from any location where the internet is available.
For more information about using document review platforms to perform document reviews, see Practice Notes, Responding Parties: Responding Parties: Document Review Overview (Federal) and Requesting Parties: Preparing for a Document Review (Federal).
