The Information Commissioner's Office has published guidance notes on detailed aspects of the freedom of information regime. The guidance notes cover: the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (SI 2004/3391) (EIR) exemptions where there is also an exemption under the Data Protection Act 1998; neither confirm nor deny in relation to personal data; refusing a request under the EIR; refusing a request under FOIA; and internal reviews under the EIR.
