A Standard Clause providing model children's privacy disclosures for an operator of a website, mobile application (app), or other online service for inclusion in its privacy policy to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) and the FTC's implementing rule (COPPA Rule). Operators subject to COPPA must, among other things, have a privacy policy that describes its practices for collecting, using, and disclosing information from children under the age of 13. This Standard Clause is drafted for use as a section of, or to supplement, a general privacy policy.
